Students collaborated to make thank you cards for UMKC men's and women's soccer teams for autographed class soccer ball...si gentil! We will send to be delivered next week!

Fall Meet & Greet

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3 at 10:00am.  We will meet outside of room 215 at the playground equipment at the northeast side of Loose Park for an informal gathering to get to know our class community better!  This is a drop-in/drop-out event with no formal structure or expectation.  We hope everyone can attend, even for a few minutes!

We received a very cool gift from both the women and men's soccer teams at UMKC - a soccer ball signed by all members of both teams! And it's meant to be played with, for sure.

We will begin thank you cards tomorrow.

It got a lot of use today and is well on its way to being well broke in! See photos below. Very cool!

Film Opportunity

Here's a great opportunity for our students to see a documentary in FRENCH next Saturday, September 5, 11a.m. at the OM Film Festival, at Cinemark on the Plaza.  The film is called Arctic Odyssey, about 6 young people who travel to the Arctic. 

Tickets are FREE for students, but they must be accompanied by a (ticket-holding) parent/adult. May be a little too much for 5-6 year old students.
